Five main symptoms indicate liver problems that have arisen due to alcohol abuse at an early stage, the Medic Journal reports with reference to British experts.
Experts of the British charity organization British Never Trust note that every time the liver filters alcohol, some of its cells die. Despite the fact that the liver is able to regenerate, it is necessary to take a break from drinking alcoholic beverages so that the cells have the opportunity to recover. Otherwise, addiction to alcohol can lead to serious and irreversible damage to the liver.
Experts have pointed out signs that can help identify liver diseases due to alcohol in the early stages. They attributed to the main symptoms:
- abdominal pain,
- diarrhea,
- fatigue,
- nausea,
- general poor health.
Loss of appetite may also occur, experts say.
