General conditions

2.7. The User agrees that the photo images provided by him will be made publicly available and the photo images transmitted to the Site do not violate the rights of third parties, including copyright and related rights and the rights to the image of a citizen.

Agreement on User’s personal data

4.1 The User gives his consent to the processing of his personal data provided when using the Site, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), extraction, use, provision of personal data (including to a medical organization or a doctor, depending on the situation), transfer (including by distribution, access), depersonalization, blocking, deletion and destruction. The User gives his consent to the collection, storage and transfer of his personal data to third parties who provide services for processing applications and calls of Users (call center employees) under an agreement with the Administration.

4.2 When using some services of the Site, the User informs the Administration of information about the fact of applying (including the intention to apply) for medical help to a doctor of a certain specialization. In order to improve the quality of the services provided, the Administration has the right to record telephone conversations between the User and employees of the Administration’s call center. Under no circumstances does the Administration listen to and/or record telephone conversations between the User and the doctor.

4.3 The User gives permission to collect, store and process this information, as well as to provide it to a medical institution and/or a doctor to whom the user applies for medical services.

4.4 The User is not obliged to provide the Administration with information about his health status when using the Site. The User has the right not to provide the Administration staff (or the call center) with any additional information or information when making an appointment with a doctor using the Site, in addition to his full name and contact phone number.

4.5 The Administration does not process any personal data concerning the health and intimate life of Users (special personal data). Such data is provided by Users directly and only to doctors or medical organizations who are obliged to respect their confidentiality within the framework of maintaining medical secrecy.

4.6 The Administration undertakes to take measures to protect the confidentiality of information received from Users and not to disclose it to third parties, except as specified in the Agreement or legislation.

4.7 The Administration may use cookies technology. Cookies are a small piece of data sent by a web server and stored on a computer used by the Site User, allowing the Administration to save the User’s personal settings and preferences, as well as collect non-personal information about him.

4.8 The Administration collects information about the actual appointments with a particular doctor solely for the purpose of determining free time for recording, while not performing analytics to determine the facts of a particular user’s actual request for medical help from a specialist or medical organization and does not disclose such information.

4.9 The Administration may use the received personal data for the following purposes:

  • to ensure the high-quality operation of the Site;
  • make changes to the Site to improve its operation;
  • provide the User with support when using the Site in case the User has difficulties, including with the choice of a specific doctor or medical organization;
  • send advertising materials to Users and inform about special offers, if Users have given their consent to this;
  • receive feedback and suggestions from Users on the work of the Site, including by e-mail or by conducting telephone surveys.

4.10 Website www.medic-journal.com uses Google Analytics web analytics services. The information collected by cookies cannot identify you, but it helps to improve the operation of our site. Other conditions

  1. All possible disputes arising out of or related to this Agreement are subject to resolution in accordance with applicable U.S. law.
  2. Nothing in the Agreement can be understood as the establishment of agency relations, partnership relations, joint activity relations, personal employment relations, or any other relations between the User and the Site Administration that are not directly provided for in the Agreement.
  3. The recognition by the court of any provision of the Agreement as invalid or not enforceable does not entail the invalidity of other provisions of the Agreement.
  4. Inaction on the part of the Site Administration in case of violation by any of the Users of the provisions of the Agreement does not deprive the Site Administration of the right to take appropriate actions later to protect its interests and copyright protection for the Site materials protected in accordance with the law.

The User confirms that he is familiar with all the clauses of this Agreement and accepts them unconditionally.
