Trunk bones x-ray is a method of X-ray examination based on the ability of tissues to weaken X-rays and the possibility of fixing radiation on a special film. It is used to obtain images of the bones of the trunk, their internal structure, size and relative position, adjacent articular surfaces and surrounding soft tissues. The technique is used to diagnose formations of various nature located inside and around the bone, as well as to identify inflammatory and infectious processes, traumatic injuries and pathological changes in bone density. Trunk bones x-ray is non-invasive, performed on an outpatient basis and in a hospital, combined with radiography of limb bones according to indications.
